Insimulab

Piazza Aragona, 19/20, Palermo, PA, Italia

Jewellery and ceramics workshop.

The InsimuLab lab was born from four friends craftsmen, goldsmiths two and two potters, who together, have chosen to share a dream. A constant experimentation, in search of color, shapes and materials, brings together the two disciplines and makes the purpose univocal. The love that the four put in the expression of their art has generated, over time, an environment in which ceramics and jewels merge and enrich each other. L 'ancient technique raku is breath in new and more functional forms that Julia and David are able to shape by hand or on a lathe. The processing of lost wax applied to jewelry allows Valeria and Simona to create zoomorphic and geometric microscriptions that recall, in a lighter way, high jewelery. The thrust that moves their every creation originates both from the need to give a harmonious sense to the objects and the desire to enclose, as far as possible, a part of the splendor from which each of us is surrounded.
